Essential Seasonal Maintenance Checklists

• Exterior: Shovel snow off walkways and around the foundation to prevent moisture build-up. Check smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms. Sprinkle salt on walkways and driveways to prevent ice build-up.

Spring Maintenance Checklist:

• Interior: Schedule a professional furnace cleaning and inspection. Inspect and clean caulking around windows and doors. Inspect and clean ventilation systems.
• Exterior: Turn on and test exterior faucets. Clean gutters and downspouts after winter debris has melted. Check for any foundation cracks and address as needed.

Summer Maintenance Checklist:

• Interior: Clean air conditioning filters. Inspect and clean dryer vents. Check for and address any signs of moisture or pest infestations.
• Exterior: Inspect and possibly trim trees and shrubs. Clean and maintain patio furniture and grills. Test and maintain sprinkler systems.
